All of our shell fabrics are woven in Sweden at Berghems Väveri. So are our linings – apart from the thin lining used for a few of our products, this lining is woven in Germany. Yes, we do! You can easily order a free swatch on the product page of every fabric, choose the option “swatch” in the length drop down menu.
All our fabrics are pre-shrunk to minimize the shrinkage in our ready made products & fabrics by the metre. Therefor the average shrinkage you can expect is 3-6%.

No, as we minimize the use of plastics in our products – all our wash bags are lined with a heavy weight, GOTS-certified, organic cotton.

We offer free shipping by Swedish Postnord, on all orders above 600 SEK, within Sweden. For orders under 600 SEK within Sweden, a shipping cost of 69 to 89 SEK is added, depending on your choice of delivery method. You can choose to pick up your order for free in our Stockholm Shop & Studio at Sankt Paulsgatan 14. Any freight cost is automatically added at checkout, as you register your delivery address.
Europe
We offer free shipping on all orders above 200 EUR within Europe. For orders below 200 EUR a shipping cost of 12 to 16 EUR is added, depending on your choice of delivery method. Any freight cost is automatically added at checkout, as you register your delivery address. Any customs fees or local tax is paid by the customer.
Worldwide
On all international orders outside Europe our standard shipping cost is 30 USD. We also offer Express delivery by DHL at 55 USD. Any shipping cost is automatically added at checkout, as you register your delivery address. Any customs fees or local tax is paid by the customer.

We aim to ship worldwide, however there are countries we are unable to ship to. If we cannot ship to your country, you’ll be notified when registering your address at checkout.

Within the EU, all orders are delivered with taxes and duties included in the price shown at checkout. For orders outside the EU, we are unable to advise if you will have to pay any taxes or fees locally. If your order appears to be late, please reach out to us at team@gyllstad.com and we’ll check the status of your order. If you have a tracking number, we ask you to contact the courier in the first instance.
If you wish to make a return, please send us an email at team@gyllstad.com and we will send you a return shipping label. The return shipping cost will equal your original shipping cost, which depends on your location. You are also welcome to make your return, free of charge, in our Stockholm Shop at Sankt Paulsgatan 14. You may return any unused and undamaged Gyllstad product within 14 days from receipt of your order. Any product identifiers or tags must still be attached. Please note, that fabric by the meter, cannot be returned or exchanged. Your original shipping cost will not be refunded. Pack your products properly so they can travel safely back to us and drop your return package off at your local Post Office or courier service point. As soon as your return is received and registered in its original condition, your product cost minus return cost will be credited to your account and we’ll send you a notice. It may take up to 5 bank days before you can see the credit in your account.
If you’ve received your order and want to make an exchange of a product – you’ll need to make a return and place a new order for the desired product. Please note, that fabric by the meter, cannot be returned or exchanged.
If you wish to return, exchange, or claim a product purchased from one of our retailers, please contact the store where you originally made the purchase. The return policy of that specific retailer will apply.
